Eight firetrucks with 26 personnel of Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency, Friday (5/3), extinguished fire that burned a house on Jalan Swadaya II RT 06/04, Cempaka Baru Urban Village, Kemayoran.

Based on information gathered from local residents, the fire started when the battery of an electronic hand fan exploded and then the sparks spread throughout the room on the second floor of the house.
Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency's Handling Section Head, Ahmad Syaiful, stated there is no victims caused by the incident. There is one resident got minor burns while trying to extinguish fire.
"Two families or eight people are impacted by this incident," he admitted.
